Fire in the open – Wilburton - East Cambs

At 1.37pm on Monday (18) crews were called to a fire on Pools Road in Wilburton. 

Crews from Ely and Cottenham, along with the misting unit from Burwell and crews from Newmarket in Suffolk, attended the incident. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving around 30 acres of field. They extinguished the fire and returned to their stations by 4.45pm.
