Fire in the open – Shepreth - South Cambs

At 1.08pm on Tuesday (16) a crew from Cambridge, along with a crew from Royston in Hertfordshire, was called to a fire on Barrington Road in Shepreth. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the open involving grassland and a tree. They extinguished the fire using jets and returned to the stations by 3.50pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
