Shed fire – Orton Longueville - Peterborough

At 2.26pm on Tuesday (16) crews from Stanground and Wisbech, who were on duty at Dogsthorpe, were called to a fire on The Crescent in Orton Longueville, Peterborough. 

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire involving multiple sheds and trees in gardens, quickly spreading to a house. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and a jet. 

The crews returned to their stations by 4.50pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
