Building fire - Whittlesford - South Cambs

At 10.57pm on Friday (7) crews from Cambridge and Linton were called to a fire on Newton Road in Whittlesford.

Firefighters arrived to find a building well alight containing a static caravan. They used hose reels to extinguish the fire and a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.

Crews returned to their stations just before 1.00am on Saturday (8).

The cause of the fire was accidental.
