Car fire – March - Fenland

At 6.59pm on Tuesday (April 1) crews from March and Whittlesey were called to a fire on Wisbech Road in March.

Firefighters arrived to find a car on fire. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 8.15pm.

A male casualty was treated for smoke inhalation and left in the care of ambulance crews.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
