Field fire - March - Fenland

On Wednesday (20) at 11.54am, crews from March, Chatteris and the water carrier from Ramsey were called to a field fire on Upwell Road, March.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire on a field of stubble, involving peat.

Firefighters used a hose reel, beaters and small gear to extinguish the fire.

Firefighters left the area at around 5pm, before reinspecting the following day.
