Fire in the open - Doddington - Fenland

On Sunday (29) ay 11.53am, a crew from Chatteris and the north roaming fire engine were called to a fire in the open on Dykemoor Drove, Doddington.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the open had spread to a nearby shed.

Using a light portable pump and hose reels, firefighters extinguished the fire, before returning to their stations by 1.45pm.

Firefighters reinspected the area later in the day.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
