Fence fire - Newborough - Peterborough

On Wednesday (29) at 5.31pm, a crew from Dogsthorpe was called to a fence fire on Kettle Drive, Newborough.

The crew arrived to find a fire involving fencing and a row of conifers, that had spread to a house.

Firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire was accidental.

The crew returned to their station by 6.30pm, before reinspecting the area later in the evening.
