Flat fire - Swavesey - South Cambs

At 8.25pm on Sunday (30) crews from Huntingdon, Cottenham and Cambridge were called to a flat fire on Middle Watch in Swavesey. 

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan. 

Crews returned to their stations by 10.30pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
