Van fire – A1 - Huntingdonshire

At 9.31am on Tuesday (17) crews from Huntingdon and Stanground were called to a fire on the A1. 

Firefighters arrived to find a van on fire on the southbound carriageway near Sawtry. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 11am. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
