Fire in the open - Sawtry - Huntingdonshire

At 2.57pm on Monday (14) a crew from Stanground along with the north roaming fire engine and water carrier were called to a fire in the open on B1090 near Sawtry.

Firefighters used a hose reel and drags to extinguish an out of control bonfire.

Crews were at the scene until around 5.10pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
