Fire in the open - Dry Drayton - South Cambs

At 12.14pm on Saturday (21) two crews from Cambridge along with the south roaming fire engine were called to a fire in the open on Park Lane in Dry Drayton.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving straw bales that had spread to grassland. The crews used hose reels and small gear to extinguish the fire and were at the scene until around 2.30pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
