Trapped Teddy freed by roaming firefighters

Firefighters came to the aid of a stricken puppy that got into difficulty.

The crew on board the south roaming fire engine was called at around 11am on Tuesday (21) after Teddy, a four month old puppy, got himself stuck beneath a wooden structure in Waterbeach.

A fire service spokesperson said: “Teddy managed to get tangled in his lead around the posts under the structure. We were able to quickly get access and safely release him. He was very pleased to be reunited with his owner.”

The crew left the scene by 11.35am.
