Introduction to Fire Safety in the workplace

We run FREE sessions to help businesses understand their responsibilities for relevant fire safety legislation.

Attending a session will provide a better appreciation of the Fire Safety Order, the need for assessment of fire risk and the application of fire safety measures within your workplace.

Presented by qualified Fire Safety Officers, the session last around 90 minutes. These can be attended either online (via Microsoft Teams) or in person at the locations listed below. There will be no expectation for you to appear on camera if you attend an online session, and there is also the option to ask questions throughout the session using the chat function.

Workshops can be organised to focus on specific sectors of the business community, such as licensing, care homes, or retail, to look at the official guidance documents relating to that premises type. These focussed sessions may be arranged for a targeted audience by us, or they can be organised based on requests from the business community and our partnership groups.
