House fire – Barrington - South Cambs

At 5.39pm on Monday (2) crews from Cambridge and the south roaming fire engine were called to a fire on Bendyshe Way in Barrington. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a bungalow. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished using a hose reel and a jet and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan. They returned to their stations by 9.40pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
