House fire – Orwell - South Cambs

At 9.55pm on Thursday (19) crews from Cambridge, Gamlingay and Burwell were called to a fire on Lotfield Street in Orwell.  

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire in the living room of a house. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and a jet. They returned to their stations by 1.15am.  

The cause of the fire was accidental.
