Car fire – Werrington - Peterborough

At 7.12pm on Wednesday (25) crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to a fire on the Werrington Parkway in Peterborough. 

Firefighters arrived to find a car well alight in a layby on the northbound carriageway. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 8.30pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
