Building fire - March - Fenland

On Monday (30) at 6.30am, crews from Thorney, Wisbech, March, Manea and Chatteris were called to a building fire on Wisbech Road, March.

Crews arrived to find a forklift on fire within a commercial building.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel and jet to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire was accidental.

Crews returned to their stations by 8.15am.
