Building fire - Market ward - Cambridge

On Wednesday (8) at 3.46am, crews were called to reports of a building fire at the Grand Arcade in Cambridge.

Crews responded from Cambridge, Cottenham, Linton, Sawston, Huntingdon and Cambourne. The incident command unit and a turntable ladder also attended.

Crews arrived to find a fire in a storeroom. Firefighters used a fire extinguisher to put the fire our and a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.

The incident was handed over to the responsible person, before crews left the area at around 5.15am.
