Fire in the open – Trumpington ward - Cambridge

At 7.34pm on Tuesday (14) a crew from Cambourne was called to a fire on Brooklands Avenue in Trumpington ward, Cambridge. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving a hollowed tree and extinguished it using a jet. They returned to their station by 10.30pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
