Garage fire - Yaxley - Huntingdonshire

On Saturday (25) a 12.34am, a crew from Stanground and a crew from Dogsthorpe were called to a garage fire on Mountbatten Avenue, Yaxley.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire had spread from a shed to a garage and fencing. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 1.34am. The area was reinspected later in the morning.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
