House fire – Orton Goldhay - Peterborough

At 11.08am on Sunday (5) crews from Stanground and Dogsthorpe were called to a fire on Brudenell in Orton Goldhay. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the kitchen of a house, with smoke issuing out of the door. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel. The property was safely evacuated when the crews arrived. 

The crews returned to their stations by 12.55pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
