Flat fire – Burwell - East Cambs

At 3.32pm on Tuesday (18) crews from Ely and Cambridge, along with crews from Newmarket in Suffolk, were called to a fire on Burling Way in Burwell.  

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a two-storey block of flats, involving a single flat. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 5.55pm.  

The cause of the fire was accidental.
