Flat fire - Wisbech - Fenland

On Saturday (22) at 6.12pm, crews from Dogsthorpe, Wisbech, March and three crews from Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service, responded to reports of a flat fire on West Street, Wisbech.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, before ventilating the property.

The cause of the fire was believed to be accidental.

All crews returned to their stations by 9.30pm.

The area was reinspected later in the evening.
