House fire – Guilden Morden - South Cambs

At 1.21pm on Wednesday (3) crews from Gamlingay and Cambridge, along with crews from Royston and Baldock in Hertfordshire, were called to a fire on Thompsons Meadow in Guilden Morden. 

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire on the ground floor of a house. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 5.05pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
