Car fire – A14 - South Cambs

At 5.30am on Sunday (7) crews from Cambridge were called to a fire on the A14. 

Firefighters arrived to find a car on fire on the westbound carriageway near Stow-Cum-Quy. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 7am. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
