Building fire - Huntingdon - Huntingdonshire

At 1.11pm on Thursday 27 July crews from Huntingdon and St Neots were called to an automatic fire alarm on Glebe Road in Huntingdon.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in an electrical cupboard. Wearing breathing apparatus, they used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

The crews returned to their stations by 2.32pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
