Caravan fire - Chatteris - Fenland

At 2.28pm on Sunday (30) crews were called to reports of a caravan fire on Iretons Way, Chatteris.

Crews from Ely, March, Chatteris, Manea, and Ramsey responded.

Firefighters arrived to find a caravan on fire that had spread to outbuildings.

Firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 5pm.

The road was closed for a short period due to the smoke.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
