Vehicle fire - A1 - Peterborough

At 3.07pm on Wednesday 2 August crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to a vehicle fire on the A1.

Firefighters arrived to find a trailer fire on the northbound carriageway near Wansford. Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 4.34pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
