House fire - Friday Bridge - Fenland

At 4.48pm on Monday 7 August crews from Wisbech were called to a house fire on Church Road in Friday Bridge. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a bedroom. Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire. Two casualties were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation and were left in the care of ambulance crews.  

The crews returned to their stations by 6.18pm.
