Fire in the open - Brampton Hut - Huntingdonshire

At 1.35pm on Thursday 17 August crews from Huntingdon, St Neots and Stanground were called to a fire in the open on Great North Road in Brampton Hut.

Firefighters arrived to find fire in a field involving around 10 hectares of standing crop. Using hose reels they extinguished the fire before returning to their stations by 3.17pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
