Fire in the open - Leverington - Fenland

At 4.41pm on Saturday 19 August a crew from Wisbech was called to a fire in the open on Church Road in Leverington.

Firefighters arrived to find approximately 50 metres of hedgerow well alight which had spread to two cars. Using hose reels, they extinguished the fire before returning to their station by 5.55pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
