Fire in the open – Chatteris - Fenland

At 5.19pm on Monday (21) crews from Manea, Ramsey and March were called to a fire on Doddington Road in Chatteris. 

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire in a field, measuring around two acres, and extinguished it. They returned to their stations by 6.50pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
