Fire in the open – Doddington - Fenland

At 6.01pm on Monday (21) crews from March, Ramsey and Manea were called to a fire on Dykemoor Drove in Doddington.  

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the open involving trees that was quickly spreading to a derelict building. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and a jet. They returned to their stations by 9pm.  

The cause of the fire was accidental.
