Fire in the open – Great Gidding - Huntingdonshire

At 1.43pm on Monday (21) the north roaming fire engine and a crew from Stanground were called to a fire on Winwick Road in Great Gidding.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving farm machinery spreading to crops. They extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 3.15pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
