Building fire - West Chesterton - Cambridge

At 5.39am on Saturday 9 September crews from Cambridge were called to a building fire on Alexandra Gardens in Cambridge.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

The crews returned to their station by 7.10am.

The cause of the fire was believed to be deliberate.
