Fire in the open - Whittlesey - Fenland

At 8.36pm on Saturday 9 September crews from Thorney and Dogsthorpe were called to a fire in the open on Eastrea Road in Whittlesey.

Firefighters arrived to find two separate seats of fire involving cut down trees. Using hose reels, they crew extinguished the fire before returning to their station by 10pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
