Stack fire - Soham - East Cambs

At 1.51am on Tuesday 12 September crews from Soham, Chatteris and Ely were called to a stack fire on East Fen Drove in Soham.

Firefighters arrived to find approximately 240 straw bales alight. Using a hose reel jet, drags and a positive pressure ventilation fan crews extinguished the fire.

Crews returned to their station by 3.20pm.
