Lorry fire - A1 - Huntingdonshire

At 4.44pm on Thursday (9) crews from Huntingdon, Dogsthorpe and St Neots were called to a lorry fire on A1 between Sawtry and Norman Cross.

Firefighters arrived to find a car transporter on fire involving four cars. Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 6.35pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
