House fire - Hardwick - South Cambs

At 11.57am on Sunday (12) the South Roaming Fire Engine along with a crew from Cambridge were called to a house fire on Bramley Way in Hardwick.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish a fire in the kitchen and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

Crews returned to their stations by 1.10pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
