Flat fire – Wisbech - Fenland

At 4.59pm on Saturday (25) a crew from Wisbech was called to a fire on Haley Close in Wisbech. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a first floor flat. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.  

The crews returned to their station by 6pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
