Building fire – Colerdge ward - Cambridge

At 6.48pm on Friday (18) crews from Cambridge, Cottenham and Cambourne were called to a fire on Mowbray Road in Coleridge ward, Cambridge.

Firefighters arrived to find a well developed fire involving an outbuilding that was spreading quickly to an allotment. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and jets.

The crews returned to their stations by 9.45pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
