Lorry fire - Fengate - Peterborough

At 11.56am on Monday (17) crews from Stanground and Dogsthorpe were called to a lorry fire on Dodson Way in Peterborough.

The crews arrived to find a lorry well alight. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters using a hose reel to extinguish the fire. They reinspected the area for hotspots throughout the afternoon.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
