House fire - Wansford - Peterborough

At 2.27pm on Monday (22) crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground along with the north roaming fire engine were called to a house fire on Thackers Close in Wansford. 

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan. 

Crews returned to their stations by 3.50pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
