Fire in the open - Barton - South Cambs

At 5.07pm on Thursday (9) the south roaming fire engine along with a crew from Cambridge were called to a fire in the open on Wimpole Road in Barton.

Firefighters arrived to find a bonfire which had spread to stables. Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used hose reels and small gear to contain the fire to one stable and extinguish it before returning to their stations by 7pm.
