Flat fire – Werrington - Peterborough

At 4.14am on Sunday (12) crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to a fire on Morland Court in Werrington, Peterborough. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a first floor flat. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan. They returned to their stations by 5.50am. 

The property was evacuated when crews arrived.
