House fire – West Town - Peterborough

At 9.24pm on Saturday (25) crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to a fire on Mayors Walk in West Town, Peterborough. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a house. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan. The crews returned to their stations by 10.35pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
