House fire - Hampton Vale - Peterborough

On Monday (24) at 4.44pm a crew from Stanground and a crew from Yaxley were called to a house fire on Shrub Road, Hampton Vale.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, before using a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.

The cause of the fire was accidental.

Crews returned to their stations by 6.20pm.
