House fire – Kings Hedges ward - Cambridge

At 1.26pm on Wednesday (31) crews from Cambridge were called to a fire on St Catharines Square in Kings Hedges ward, Cambridge.  

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the kitchen of a house. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan. They returned to their station by 3pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
