Bin fire – Hampton - Peterborough

At 12.34am on Friday (16) crews from Stanground and Yaxley were called to a fire on Brickstead Road in Hampton, Peterborough. 

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire involving a bin store beneath a two-storey building. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan. They crews returned to their stations by 2.15am.
